About the founder

Hi, I'm Leena, and during my studies at QMUL I've lost count of the lectures, coursework tasks and assignment deadlines I've faced feeling completely lost.

Like most students, I turned to Google, YouTube, lecture slides and group chats for help. But I kept realising that the people most likely to have the answers weren't online. They were the students who had already been through the same course, completed the same assignments and overcome the same challenges.

The issue wasn't that support didn't exist. It was that access to it often depended on already knowing the right people. Some students are lucky enough to have friends in upper years they can turn to, but many aren't. I wanted to create a space where every student, regardless of their connections, could benefit from the experience and knowledge of those who had gone before them.

So over the last two years, I planned, designed and built EduLoop myself. Not because I had a technical background, funding, a team or industry connections. I had none of those things. I simply believed students could learn more effectively if it were easier to connect with one another.
